This is a natural-cultural route. In addition to enjoying the marvellous landscape that surrounds Segura, it highlights the importance water has had and still has in the area, the mills or waterfalls... It’s a 5.5 km walk signposted with 13 different stops with informative panels. It’s a circular trail that takes about two hours to finish. Map

This trail is not just physical, it’s also symbolic and socially aware. At every step, experiences of women who have been important to the history of the village of Segura are recovered. Because, in the history of women there is a need to recover and recognise. Many of those women never gained recognition, but their work has been fundamental to the life of Segura. At every point along the route, issues that are and were important to women are raised. Idiazabal Cheese Route

This is a circular mountain route to visit the interior of Gipuzkoa. It crosses the Goierri, Alto Urola and Alto Deba valleys. The Idiazabal Cheese Route, or GR-283, has six stages with an accumulated elevation difference of 9.777 metres, with a positive difference of 4.920 metres and a negative difference of 4.857, and a total length of 95.7 kilometres.
