It is reached on the trail that goes from Segura to Mutiloa. It was a parish until 1943. A document by Martínez de Isasti from 1563 says, “Parish with sacrament, font and vicar”.
The hermitage has an open front with a three-part roof on four wooden pillars. The facade is Romanesque, 12th to 13th century. The entrance has a pointed arch. The roof has a rectangular tower with a bell in the central space. Inside, on the main altar, the figure of Santa Engracia is honoured and venerated.
The feast day of the hermitage is 16 April (or the following Sunday), with a mass and the blessing of seeds.
The Seroras (female caretakers) came from the Baserri next door and they prepare a hamaiketako for the local residents on that day.
The Via Crucis for Holy Friday starts in this place.
